Company History:
In 1902, Luigi, the founder, founded American Star Cork Co., Inc
In 1935, Luigi's son Joseph Petrosino founded ACME Metal Cap and Closure
In the 1960s, the founder's grandson Thomas Petrosino took over the company and switched to producing metal powder trays (Pan/Gadets) for cosmetics, fully entering the cosmetics packaging industry and supporting cosmetics products.
In 1985, he moved from Williamsburg, New York (Brooklyn) to Woodside, New York (Queens).
In 2012, it was acquired by FIP and relocated to Secaucus, New Jersey in July 2016.
In April 2016, an Asian production base was established in Suzhou, China, and Suzhou ACME Cosmetic Components Co., Ltd. was founded.
In 2016, a European production base was established in Germany to serve European customers.
Suzhou ACME started production in 2017. ACME China's initial business scope covers customers in the Asia Pacific and some North American regions.
In the second half of 2024, ACME China will undergo a global strategic adjustment and begin to separate from its parent company to operate independently. The products have also started to be sold globally.
In May 2025, ACME China registered the "Yahemei" trademark, and the Chinese trademark "Yahemei" was included in the company's brand.
